THE FOUNDERS
Dr. Adam Manchon and Dr. Steven Milo are co-founders of Prime Anesthesia. They have a combined 35 years of experience providing exceptional anesthesia care including extensive experience in orthopedics, bariatrics, organ transplant, obstetrics & gynecology, gastroenterology, podiatry and general surgery. They are skilled in all areas of anesthesia and approach each anesthetic to suit the needs of each patient, as well as the physician performing the procedure.

Adam Manchon MD
After completing medical school at the University of Kansas, Dr. Manchon moved to Denver for his anesthesia training at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Falling in love with all things Colorado, it was an easy decision to make this his permanent home. Dr. Manchon enjoys an active lifestyle during all four seasons that includes cycling, hiking, snowboarding, fly-fishing and just about any other outdoor activity. He also likes to travel, attend concerts and sporting events, and especially spend quality time with his large extended family.

Steven Milo MD
A native of New Jersey, Dr. Milo completed his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and went to medical school at New Jersey School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Liver Transplant Anesthesia at New York City’s Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Milo moved to Denver in 2010. He is the proud father of three girls, an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf, cycling, and traveling. He was inducted into the Johns Hopkins University Athletic Hall of Fame for baseball in 2013.

Jim Slattery MD
Dr. Slattery, a native of South Dakota, is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist who completed his undergraduate, graduate, and medical school studies at the University of South Dakota. He then moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota for his anesthesiology residency at the University of Minnesota. He has been in private practice since 2008, first in Arizona and then in Denver at a large group practice before joining Prime Anesthesia. He enjoys all aspects of ambulatory anesthesia and is passionate about providing quality care to his patients. Dr. Slattery enjoys riding his mountain bike, golfing, and skiing. He loves living in Colorado with his wife Megan and their twin boys.

Chase Kornegay MD
Dr. Chase Kornegay is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist originally from Oklahoma where he completed his medical education and residency training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Before joining Prime Anesthesia, he worked at a private group in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metro doing a wide variety of general outpatient, cardiac, bariatric and pediatric cases. The desire to be near the Rockies led him to fortuitously find Prime Anesthesia. Here he is proficient in providing anesthesia to all age groups in an outpatient setting in facilities throughout the Denver metro. Dr. Kornegay loves spending his free time with his family. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, golfing and cycling.

David Lee MD
Dr. David Lee grew up in White Plains, N.Y. He attended Oberlin College graduating with Honors in Neuroscience, State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine Magna cum Laude, and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for Anesthesia residency. He has been in practice for 20 years specializing in regional and ambulatory anesthesia. As the world is constantly changing, he always strives to learn new techniques to keep patients as comfortable as possible. He has been voted Top Doc in 5280 magazine (as voted by his peers) several times. In his free time he loves spending time with his wife, two sons and daughter. Tennis, mountain biking, golf, and skiing are some of his favorite activities.

Mark Laurnen MD
Dr. Mark Laurnen grew up in Seattle. After graduating from Whitman College, he attended the University of Washington School of Medicine. Following completion of an Anesthesiology residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center he remained in Denver where he has practiced clinical anesthesia for over three decades, including 18 years as Medical Director of a busy orthopedic surgery center. Dr. Laurnen has three grown sons and resides with his wife, Kathy, and two dogs in Evergreen. Dr. Laurnen spends his leisure time pursuing outdoor activities including biking, skiing, boating, fishing, hiking and hunting.

Kyle Strycker MD
Born and raised in Indiana, Dr. Kyle Strycker received his biology degree from Taylor University. He then completed medical school and residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. After 10 years of private practice in South Bend, IN, Dr. Strycker moved to Colorado to be closer to family. Outside of Prime, Dr. Strycker enjoys traveling, marathon training, hiking, grilling, and spending time with his three children and extended family.

Sarah Al-Najar MD
Dr. Sarah Al-Najar grew up locally in Aurora, CO. She attended Colorado State University, graduating with a Masters in Biomedical Sciences, then attended Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. She moved back home to Colorado and joined the Prime Anesthesia team following completion of her residency. In her free time, she enjoys running, spending time with her partner and her dog, and exploring everything Colorado has to offer.

Andrea Grilli MD
Dr. Andrea Grilli Is a second generation Colorado native and graduated from medical school and residency training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences in Denver with a specialty in cardiac anesthesia. She has practiced anesthesia in the metro Denver area for 21 years including primary specialties in cardiac and bariatric surgeries. She married her college sweetheart, has 2 grown children, 2 dogs, 10 chickens, 2 bee hives, a huge garden! In her spare time, she loves playing golf and competes in tournaments in multiple states.

Stephen Campbell DO
Dr. Stephen Campbell graduated with honors from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in biochemistry. He pursued multiple careers prior to embarking on his career in medicine. He worked in academic and biotechnology research as a chemist and ran an electron microscope laboratory and then as a website designer, professional photographer and videographer. He obtained his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He subsequently finished a one year fellowship in pain medicine at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. When not practicing anesthesia, he enjoys spending time with his wife, stepdaughter and labradoodle puppy.
